If content that should be restricted is showing to unauthorized users, the most common causes are caching and access group assignment. Check that your caching plugin is not serving a cached version of the restricted page to logged-out users — restricted pages should be excluded from cache or served with a logged-out variant that shows the restriction message. Also verify the user’s access group assignment in SureMembers → Members and confirm the restriction rule is attached to the correct content in SureMembers → Access Groups.

Drip timing in SureMembers is calculated from the date a user was added to the access group, not from their registration date or payment date. If the drip is not triggering on schedule, check the user’s group start date in SureMembers → Members. Also confirm that the drip setting is in days (not hours or weeks) and that the correct access group is attached to the restricted content.

Integration-based automatic group assignment requires the integration to be enabled and correctly mapped in SureMembers settings. For SureCart: go to SureMembers → Integrations → SureCart and verify that the product or subscription in SureCart is mapped to the correct access group. For WooCommerce: verify that the product is mapped and that the customer’s order status is one that triggers access (typically Processing or Completed). Orders in Pending payment status do not trigger access by default.

SureMembers supports block-level restriction in the Gutenberg editor. Select any block, open the block settings panel on the right, and look for the “Restrict this Block” option. Select the access group(s) that should see the block. Non-members will not see the block while the rest of the page remains visible. This works with any standard Gutenberg block and any third-party block that registers itself correctly with the editor.
